When planning your visit to the Russian Federation using an e-visa, please remember the following: the time period for processing your application (4 calendar days) does not include the day of application submission. If after the verification of your application you are asked to correct the inaccurately submitted data, your application processing period will also be changed and will be counted from the day of resubmission of your application data for verification.

The electronic visa entitles you to enter the Russian Federation and stay in the Russian Federation for a guest or business visit, as a tourist, as well as to participate in scientific, cultural, socio-political, economic, sporting events and to establish relevant communications and contacts. If the purpose of your trip to the Russian Federation does not correspond to any of the above, you should apply to a diplomatic mission or consular office of the Russian Federation for a paper (not electronic) visa.
If you have no information about your parents, you should indicate "no information" in the corresponding fields.
If you are traveling with minor children who are registered in your passport, a separate application for an electronic visa must be submitted for each child. All minor children traveling with their parents must have an individual electronic visa.
Yes, since notifications about the progress and results of the application processing are sent to your e-mail address. Notifications are also available in your personal account on the specialized website and in the mobile application.
A contact phone number may be necessary in case of emergency notification of an alien about any unforeseen circumstances related to his/her entry into, exit from and stay in Russia.
If the processing of the application reveals any incorrect information in it, its further processing will be suspended and it will be returned to you for corrections, with comments and indication of the items of the application to be corrected. The application is returned for correction within a period of not more than 2 calendar days from the date of submission of the application. The status of the application can be tracked through the personal account page. Application processing starts after all errors are corrected and takes 4 calendar days.
It is not possible to change the data in the e-visa issued. Unfortunately, in this case you need to submit a new application for the e-visa.
Please inform us about any errors found in the issued e-visa at evisa_info@kdmid.ru, indicating the number of the application form, passport number and the field where the error was made. The information received will allow us to improve the service of processing applications and prevent similar situations in the future.
PAYMENT
Please wait for the confirmation of your payment. Payment processing time is between 20 and 45 minutes.
Due to the sanctions imposed by unfriendly states, you can pay the consular fee only with cards issued by banks of other countries. It is impossible to pay the consular fee using cards issued by Russian banks. Payment is made on the specialized website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia or in the mobile application of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia using Internet acquiring technology with bank cards of international payment systems (Visa, MasterCard, etc.). No refund of payment is provided regardless of the result of the application processing.
Although the invoice is issued in dirhams or yuan, the consular fee can be paid using a bank card linked to an account in any local foreign currency, with automatic conversion of funds into one of the above-mentioned currencies (the conversion fee is set by your bank).
Due to the sanctions imposed by unfriendly states, payment by invoice or through PayPal payment system is currently unavailable.

Unfortunately, there is no refund available regardless of the outcome of the application processing (see item 12 "Specific features of the e-visa and conditions of its processing").

PROCESSING
Please check your Personal account page , to see if your application has been returned for editing. The status of the application: "Returned for editing" means that incorrect information was found during the application processing. You should correct this information and then resubmit the application for processing.
If your application has the status "Accepted for Processing," check the date your application was submitted or corrected.
IMPORTANT: The day an e-visa application is submitted or resubmitted after correction is not included in the application processing time.
If you have not received a notification about the issuance of an e-visa after the expiration of the processing period (date of your application submission or resubmission after correction + 5 days), please contact evisa_info@kdmid.ru, indicating in the message your application ID, your citizenship and passport number;
If the processing period has not yet expired, please wait for your e-visa; sending a request to the support service will not speed up processing of your application.
ENTRY
You can travel for up to 16 days on any date within 60 days after receiving notification of the issuance of your visa. Please remember that the date of departure from Russia cannot be later than the 60th day from the date of the issuance of your visa.
You can track the status of your application in your personal account page on the specialized website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation or through the mobile application available for downloading on the said website.
Foreign citizens arriving in the Russian Federation on the basis of an electronic visa are free to move within the entire territory of the Russian Federation, with the exception of territories, organizations and facilities where a special permit is required in accordance with federal laws.
Please indicate the name, address and telephone number of the hotel (or other accommodation facility) where you intend to stay. No booking confirmation or any other documents confirming the purpose of travel to the Russian Federation are required.
In accordance with the existing Russian legislation you can enter and leave the Russian Federation only with valid documents certifying the identity of a citizen of the Russian Federation outside the territory of the Russian Federation.
To obtain such documents (foreign passport; certificate of entry (return), you should apply to the nearest Russian diplomatic mission or consular office..
The question about insurance in the application is not that important. Lack of data about it is not a reason for refusal of entry into the Russian Federation, nor for refusal to issue an e-visa or return of the application for reprocessing.
No, you cannot, as the unified electronic visa is valid for entry to the Russian Federation and exit from the Russian Federation only through checkpoints across the state border of the Russian Federation, the list of which is approved by the Government of the Russian Federation (see item 2 "Characteristics of the electronic visa and conditions for its issuance").
Migration registration of foreign citizens in the Russian Federation is a mandatory procedure for any foreign citizen who has entered the territory of Russia under a visa or visa-free procedure for legal stay in the territory of the Russian Federation.
To this end, it is necessary to submit a notification of arrival at the place of stay within 7 working days. This can be done in a territorial subdivision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, through one of the Russian Post , offices or through a district office of the Multifunctional Center for the provision of state municipal services ("My Documents").
In case you stay in a hotel, migration registration is carried out automatically by the hotel staff (no additional actions mentioned above are required).
